Mandatory Neck Guards
Reminder that this year, USA Hockey has a mandatory neck guard policy that will be required at pre-season training camp, tryouts, practices, tournaments and games. We appreciate every parent's involvement in making sure your player has the proper equipment to play. Per USA Hockey:
All players who wear the required, or recommended, protective equipment must wear it in the manner for which it is designed.
Hanging throat protectors for goaltenders are not designed to prevent lacerations from a skate blade and are not a substitute for a neck laceration protector.
